Turning Tables - Adele

Holy shits I did not realize that I have not posted this up!! Anyways, this was written on the 16th of August, just in case you wonder. And that was so long ago. Sorry as well, for slacking off blogging. I have plenty to tell!! But, have yet to find the energy to do so :P

Counting down the days, it has been almost 3 months that I have gone jobless, aimless, the biggest procrastinator of the century. It is rather tragic because I just let the cobwebs manifest my brain.
Plus, I realized that the littlest things that make me make use of my brain or require more thinking than usual will trigger my bad migraine. It is not a good sign. What happens when school starts? What happens when I have to study for exams? Wouldn't i just die of the bad throbbing headache? So tragic.
I might actually consider doing a brain scan one day. This migraine cycle is sorta freaky actually.
I may sleep through the night with that headache still going on, but when I wake up in the morning, it continues. In fact, the amount of paracetamol that I have taken to numb off the pain may already created the  tolerance effect.
Right now, it is slowly sliding off, only coming back once in a while in a very mild version.
Consulted my first doctor, Hiran, who just activated his Facebook account this afternoon. So nice to talk to him after such a long time again and how honored i am to be his first friend on Facebook :)
You may ask how's the packing and all.
Well, it is almost done so far, with a little more to fit in to my backpack, still wondering how it'll look like with my laptop and all inside. The amount of stuff I'm bringing is not enough to fit into both my big luggage and there's still some extra clothes I have to carry with me in my backpack.
Sigh... I small girl like me has stuff weighing more than I do to bring. What to do? I already tried my best to minimize the stuff I am going to bring and still...

Till I leave the country,
Pei Ning.

lethargy

I'm Not Missing You - Stacie Oricco

such contradiction if i were to deny the above song title...
,

something about today that made me feel all lazy and unproductive
woke up in the morning to some noise coming from downstairs (the living room i presume), and so i was right, there was a visitor in my house. checked the time on my phone, it was already way past 12 noon
i guess the lazy bug got to me and i was infected, the entire day i was just zombieing around the house being unproductive, well at least i felt that i wasn't
i wanted to watch a movie, but stopped about 15 minutes later
i wanted to sing some songs, not any song came to my mind so i shut up in the end
i wanted to listen to some songs, but the catchy rhythm just zombied in and out of my ears
i wanted to grab something to keep my mouth busy, there's nothing at home to munch on
i wanted to play the piano, it sounded like crap and spoilt my already kaput mood
i wanted to read a book, i stopped almost immediately after the first sentence
i have no mood for whatever thing today, simply none
i need to get back to track in search of my mood, my inspiration, i don't even feel like writing this post actually, but i forced myself to, just a heads up for everyone about how much i am a potato couch today
i sleep a lot lately, more than i supposed to, and that makes me think of a life of a retiree, boring, mundane, unproductive and obviously, like you're only waiting for death to come knocking at your door
do i sound like i'm joking? cause i'm not
my whole body feels like it is losing its energy, so tired, so lethargic
i need a body massage, to relax my muscles, but i am ticklish, so what now?
i feel like i am contradicting myself, or maybe i am just babbling a bunch of nonsensical period absent sentences throughout
meh i need someone to inject some adrenaline into my lifeless and almost soulless body
i need some life into my boring life
i need some color into my black and white film in this 21st century
i need life in conclusion

uh bye
no mood
talk to ya later

Cinta - Misha Omar & Jacklyn Victor

Today, I decided to be a good girl. I cleaned the shelf, i did some house chores, i practiced the piano and i did some calligraphy :)
I admit that I am not the best when it comes to calligraphy, not even close to good, but hey, I think I'm better than quite some number of people eh? At least, when i was back in primary and high school altogether. I remember during a Chinese paper back in Form One, one dude actually called me and asked if i came from China or something because my calligraphy, he claimed, is so nice. I scoffed at that idea, thinking how absurd he is to have thought of such a thing. Mainly because my calligraphy ain't exactly that nice and i don't look like i'm part of PRC.
Anyways, here's some of the outcomes out of today's practice, just thought I would post up some so that I can look back in the future and laugh about how ugly my calligraphy writing and how unskilful i am now :) (i am dead serious about how i'm not talented at calligraphy yet people thinks i'm so good. i've seen better, not being humble)
Could've been better for some, but some are because I'm running out of ink and i didn't want to add so just wrote with a dried up brush. And some because i am just too tired and couldn't be bothered. Anyways, I haven't picked up a brush since Form Five when I went for the state competition at Sunway University College. Words are not in order though, if you understand those words, you'll figure out exactly what i am trying to write :)

For those who went to the same Chinese class as I did, hope my writing hasn't gone bad or something.
Cheers!! *:)

lacking the mojo.

Hola!
The writing mojo isn't hitting me these days. What more my boring little life?
Anyways, I haven't been updating about my Europe trip. I haven't been updating about my life mainly cause its BORING! I need to update about my short trip to Sabah. So many pending posts. I don't feel like blogging any more. Lacking the mojo.
I'm not even listening to songs these days! I'm losing myself. My lively self.
I'm down with a cough, and a bad headache last night. In bad condition since Sabah. The seafood was great though. Oh i'm talking crap. Its late now. Sign out and rest i guess. Goodbye!
Evelyn.

sweet serenade.

Speak Now - Taylor Swift

As time ticks pass, my hope gradually fades. More like drowned with the minutes. But I'm struggling to stay up, so that I can continue to wait, whereas you probably are at somewhere, oblivious of my anticipation.
Woke up today feeling weary and groggy with a mild aching of the stomach. Half-boiled egg and hot chocolate for breakfast. mmm... Very unusual and delicious.
Went out for shopping with the family at MidValley and the Gardens. Our greatest motivation then was to find a shirt for daddy for new year, turned out, he didn't get anything while I bought a cute sailor-like polo T from Nautica. That sums up to 7 pieces of garments for new year. Omggg... The most in my new year outfit history. Would've added one more dress from Cotton On to the list but mummy said since I'm transferring to US already, I shouldn't buy too many clothes cause I can't bring too many over. Cruel truth always hurts. :(
Obligated to do spring cleaning with the family tomorrow. I loathe. Cause I'll always end up sneezy and sniffy after. Its not fun. Especially to catch a flu caused by dusts. Its disgusting. Just imagine dust particles entering your nose, then lungs? ohemgeee...
.

Anyways, I'm still working on my personal statement. How inefficient a person like me can be. I should totally stop playing Tetris Battle on Facebook and start working on my uni applications. Deadlines are nearing dear. Get to work. Just how many times I need to remind myself. -.-

Checklist:
- Abnormal Psychology assignment
- Study for Western Civilization quiz
- Personal statement
- Uni application forms
- Spring Cleaning
- Celebrate Chinese New Year

The holiday is never enough. :(

and so,

On My Way Here - Clay Aiken

And so, life goes on.
Two years ago, at this time, I am already in bed. Nice and warm. Oh if you are thinking about nice spring bed with superb comfy quilt cover, you are wrong. I was sleeping on the nicely heated mat, covered with thick cotton blankets, while the temperature outside was just a few degree Celsius to freezing point for water. Yeap it definitely felt as good as how you imagine it to be.
Only problem I had then was that I constantly allow my devious imagination to run wild. Relating the typical Japanese shed to the freakylicious Japanese ghost movie - Ju-On.
Yeap, I was living in a shed. An isolated building where my host family only came to for meals downstairs. It was small. I even had to clean all the thick layers of dust before settling in. Anyway, I'm drifting...
Staring at my YE blazer hanging five feet above from the tip of my toes, and the shadows of the pine trees swaying along with the rhythm of the winter breeze formed on the white surface of the cupboard, I was certain that I felt goosebumps growing out from the surface of my arms.
I was then, in Chiba, Japan, under a Lion's Club Youth Exchange Program. A nicer and more prestigious way to put it is that I was once a Malaysian Youth Ambassador!
Heh... sounds really cool huh? I know I know. *does the hand gestures* :)
Its a wonder how time flies.
.

I never really liked holidays, especially long holidays. Never really look forward to one.
Reason being that
I won't be seeing people I miss seeing. You get what I mean?
I won't be seeing my friends as often as how I do during schooling days. I love my friends. They are gorgeous people.
I don't get to go for yum cha sessions with them friends during break time.
Being at home, not really a good thing. Yeap, there certainly are days where I can just lie around, be a couch potato in my baggy shirt, comfy shorts and hair in a messy bun and no one gives a damn about it. Those are the days I don't mind at all!
Being at home, feeling incredibly bored. Aimless, yet not allowed to leave the home. That sucks. Just had to sit in front of the computer for some virtual indulgence while waiting for my skin to grow on the chair I sit on.
Being at home, doing all the house chores. That sucks to the core. No further comments on that.

On a brighter and more positive perspective, I get to go out! Christmas holiday is coming soon too. I adore Christmas decorations. So beautiful. Bring smile to my face. :)

p.s.: Always keep your hopes up high, the best has yet to come. xx

Stay tuned for more posts! Toodleloo~

Little Cravings.

Best I Ever Had - Vertical Horizon

This post is to remind me again how to rant because I have a feeling that I am going forget how to do that very soon.
So, here comes…

Truthfully speaking, its been one month into my holiday and I obviously don’t have many days left. Not to mention, I, being a massive procrastinator at home, am clueless about the things I have accomplished so far since finals. I would call myself an epic failure while slapping that big “L” that I form with my index finger and thumb hard on my forehead.
Oh yes. I will do that right after this sentence itself.
*slaps “L” hard against forehead*
I couldn't believe the fact that I actually slacked through the days, being so unproductive. It was as if I was a living corpse, literally stucking my head right in front of that stupid laptop clicking away like there's no tomorrow, fingers fumbling clumsily over the sheer keyboard, LOL-ing at some ridiculous videos on Facebook and YouTube, cracking laughter at MLIA, browsing other's blog while fantasizing to live life like others; happening lifestyles, reading other's rant and amused by how other calls themselves bitches in their rants.
My life is currently all screwed and messed up that if my holiday were to be any longer than 5 weeks, I would just rot and end up in hell.
I'm pathetic. I am in desperate need to get my life sort out and resume to my old routine, which I feel much more comfortable in. Yes I want to go back to college, to hang out with my friends, to be like a normal person again. Well, I guess I can wait. Its just another week away.
.

Oh I feel a migraine kicking in again. I shall be off then...
Taa~ Nights to the world.

The Expandables.

Love The Way You Lie - Eminem

Okay. I initially wrote in to Nuffnang to see if I get lucky and win a pair of free passes to this special screening of the new movie – The Expandables, but didn't succeed. Justin got it and brought me along. Cheers!
.

Woke up in the morning feeling totally crappy. Squinted at my white wrist watch, the shorter needle pointed at 10 while the longer one stroke 12. I pulled myself up to a sitting posture just to find myself seeing stars while my vision blacked out for a moment. My head was spinning like crazy till when every thing was back to normal, my left brain starts hurting like hell. I was like, “Crap. Migraine at this time?” So yeah, I had migraine for the entire day. Totally sucking the energy out of me. I found that I don’t even have the energy to talk much.
It was a gloomy day, though the temperature of the atmosphere was heating up so much. It felt like we were in some volcanic zone while some where in a few miles away, there is some volcanic eruption. Sucks.
,

So, dinner at The Garden at Curve. Well, first time to that restaurant. One look at it, that restaurant was definitely inspired by a romantic garden concept where there were fake flower decorations in almost every corner and an overall white concept. The white grand especially enhance the exuded tranquility of the cafe. Alright. What I was trying to say was good atmosphere, love the environmental-friendly ambience of it.

Screen-shot-2010-03-16-at-5.01.20-PM

In the meanwhile, the food wasn’t up to its standard. Not nice. Ordinary. I would suggest other places if food is your main aim, Garden if romance is your main reason. :)

Nuffnang Screening – The Expandables

Many will say, “Owh… Its a guy movie. Lots of actions.” But frankly speaking, I adored it. Hell yeah I have quite an amount of testosterone in me too! Maybe it is not normal for a girl to say stuffs like that but I have to admit, they’ve got style. The way they hold their guns, the way they kill, the way they punch et cetera, style is what they have.

Though I am not a gun expert, I thought I saw Jason Statham holding a cool gun somewhat like the one Josh Duhamel was holding in Transformers. I just thought I might want to mention it here. Same technology! No, I didn’t include the super advanced rifle Terry Crews was holding. Cool beans. Can totally blow a person’s body into pieces with one bullet. Nicely choreographed action scenes.
Unless the projectionist made a mistake in the settings, this was one of the loudest movies I have ever seen. Even a small knife throw sounded like a small explosion. What more a real big ass explosion? Felt like my ear drums was exploding on each side of my ears.
Besides, there were a couple of scenes where the camera placement wasn’t at all perfect. Like the one where Jet Li was fighting and getting bashed up at the same time, it was rather chaotic and hence, the action was not quite well-delivered.
Despite the negative comments, I still love how the random jokes and people came popping out in the middle of each scene. Like the one where Arnold Schwarznegger and Bruce Willis made their random appearance, I couldn’t stop laughing. I didn’t expect so much humor in this pre-perceived as a group of gung ho fighters geared up for some action-packed mission. Thumbs up!
.

Had trouble sleeping that night. Adrenaline gushing through me. Thank God my sister wasn’t sleeping beside me that day. I woke up in the morning to realize I was tangled up in the blanket. None left at my sister’s side. Not my usual being. :D

Love, EvelynLee.

Internet ftw :)

Kissin You - Miranda Cosgrove

I switched my streamyx to the COOL UNI PACK.

Apparently, this is the best deal streamyx has got to offer apart from being only available to first and second year university students and contract period of only two years. As for the netbook, it has only an atom processor, so it ain't the cream of the crop but hey, cheaper price for extra goodies! Ain't that the best deal ever? :D
.

Anyways,
its a long story from how I got to know about it to the day I got my internet connection back.
The point is, some idiot went to terminate my existing internet attached to my home's subline before this new streamyx attached to my home's mainline is activated. In other words, I initially DO NOT need to suffer from the no-internet-days like how the other applicants had to.
Geez, thanks to that IQ-below-average person who terminated my internet account, I suffered quite a lot.
But, thanks to him, I got almost a 100% concentration for my finals.
So, after almost a month without any internet connection, after making calls exceeding ten times to TM to complain, after having the kind installer to come and check on the stability of the ADSL line (which is not and that's why he can't do heck about it), after having the technician to check on the instruments out there at one of the tall poles, the internet is finally back.
The anxiety and high hopes invested in the early anticipation period eventually faded to a mild and an utterly trivial problem, which means I was almost immune to the effects of no internet.
,

On Wednesday,
as I was pampering myself by watching Korean drama series and munching some snacks, the doorbell rang and it was the technician. Soon after he left, the installer came to install and activate my streamyx. Everything happened so quickly in the blink of an eye. I was flabbergasted when I was told that everything was back to normal and I can use the internet again (I made a wish the previous day at 11.11am that I would be happy enough to get my internet back by the beginning of the new semester). Right now, I'm paying RM68 for 1Mbps, plus, the free Wi-Fi modem that they promised. Soon after, they will mail the free netbook by courier. How's that? Life's great all of a sudden.
Hence, I guess this explains the long hiatus from blogging. :)
Grey clouds are gone, blew away by the wind, replaced with white ones, complimenting the sunny blue sky. Something about a sunny day, keeping the clouds away. Oh, how I love how metaphors insinuate things

That's bliss. That's love.

Breakaway.

Hey Soul Sister - Train

The Ox year has passed. A break from the usual mundane routine to usher a new year is pertinent. And therefore, I attempted things I don't usually do for Chinese New Year.

Back to Malacca for reunion dinner with my paternal grandmother and stayed till the 2nd day of CNY was what my family and I did for the past years, except for a few exceptional ones. Heading back to Paloh, Johor, mother's hometown was vital too! According to the typical traditional way of celebrating CNY. :D
This year is awesomely different from the other new years. No more the usual lion dance seek around the neighbourhood. No more trying to peep over the tall buildings just to have a glimpse of that stunningly beautiful fireworks. No more staying up late on New Years Eve just to watch that Baba light up that firecracker with much self-indulgence.
.
For the first time since I was born, I had my reunion dinner with my dad's eldest brother whom I call Ah Pek. He is sort of the MIA person and its almost impossible to meet him even during important festivals like Chinese New Year. He and his family were like strangers to us. We never talked, just some vague, uncertain smiles we exchanged occasionally when eyes met. What's worse was that my grandmother had to make an effort to introduce us to him! Like " Owh, this is whose daughter, this is whose eldest daughter" kind of thing.
Tsk Tsk. Picture That!
I have to tell you Ah Pek, you are such a failure and its like its okay if you don't exist in my life cause it feels like you never. Sorry but its so true. :/
...

On the first day of CNY, I wore my new Chinese traditional blouse and the skirt Yuka got for me. The outfit I crave for and obviously love it to the core. :)
For the whole day since 9 o'clock in the morning till prolly 9.30 at night, I have been wearing it and loving every moment of it on me. It was just what I like as it is :P
.
Imagine a girl who doesn't like soft drinks what more alcoholic drinks drink tequila+sprite "POP". That was what I ended up doing on the first night of CNY. It tasted horrible, awful but just for the sake of pleasing those who "forced" me to take it, I did. I got to tell you, I drank two cups of it but those didn't get me all worked up and drunk. I didn't feel dizzy or whatsoever. No feeling. My mum says I got potential. Drinking alcohol. Proven as my sister drank four cups and she was already blushing and her limbs were almost bright red. So I guess I really can take alcohol. :D
Tried red wine too! It tasted awful too. But its okay for me. Didn't take any effect as I had only like a quarter of the glass. The 'lady's red wine' is better tasting for me though and I kinda like it. :)

...

Second Day... I drove the car under the supervision and instructions of my beloved godfather who was once a car instructor himself. You are the best!
I drove almost 20km down the road to Kluang and practiced some of the basic turning, threepointturn, U-turn kinda thing. Using an Automatic car though. :D
But godfather said I was cool. Was in control of the car albeit a first-timer and its almost unnecessary to hold the steering while I drove. Mum was scowling and being a pessimist of me being soo good as my godfather says I was. Believe it or not, an ex-instructor said I was good! But maybe he was saying cause I am his goddaughter. Hmm...
.
Owh! An afternoon with Chong Seng, my Paloh friend and his friend was okay... They gamble, I don't. They karaoke Chinese songs, I don't. So I ended up sitting aside listening but I'm cool with that situation. What I love most was still the bike ride. Sitting at the back of the bike and held Chong Seng's shoulder while he rode the bike, feeling the breeze, the awkward vibration of the bike under my ass, the random chats during the ride were plain bliss! It totally brought back the memories where I would sit at the front of the bike when I was young while my elder cousin brother would ride me around and even into the oil palm estate. Thank you loads, Chong Seng. You really are a great dude, cool friend. Can we do it again next time? :P
I mean it though. Miss ya heaps!
.
An ugly side of CNY. What the heck is wrong with the water supply in Paloh? That's right. There was no water supply to Paloh for like five days and I don't know if there is now since I am back in KL already, the place with plenty of water supply. But yeah! It almost felt like desert back there.
Hot. Waterless.
Cold at night. Still waterless.
Only in the morning ( 1am ) on the 16th February, the water tank came by to distribute water.
Owh... Now I know how painful and inconvenient it was without water supply. I actually bathe only once a day, plus, using the well water of other's house. The well water in my grandfather's house was not that clean. Cool eh?
I guess my skin is not quite used to this kind of well water but suites perfectly for the chlorine treated water I get at home, little tiny pale red dots started to pop out of the surface of my skin. Its okay anyway. They are not even itchy or anything, just a wee bit... ugly. :/

...

Third Day... I had to head home earlier than scheduled because of the stupid water shortage. I haven't been back to Paloh for almost two years and this time I haven't even had enough of Paloh and because of this dumb situation, I had to go HOME no matter what. Frankly speaking, journey to Paloh wasn't any bit easy at all for people with motion sickness like myself. I couldn't force myself to sleep through the whole curvy journey as I can't miss any of the suddendropofroadsurface which totally make me feel like peeing. HAHA! But those were the things which amuse me since I was a little girl and still do now. :)
You can't feel that on the roller coaster ride. Sorry

...

So this year, more visiting than ever. Which indirectly means, more ang pows than ever! But that was not the real point of it. CNY is actually a brilliant and ingenious way of bonding relationship between people. Imagine there is no specific day of get together between family and friends. Everybody would be busy with work and studies and when can we actually spend time for each other? Hmm... More thinking to do. It is important for us to appreciate our relationship with family and friends while it last. PeACe OuT!

Its getting late already. Its almost two o'clock in the morning, Thursday. Time to get some sleep before anything. Owh. Chong Seng online now. Haha... I guess I should catch up with him before going to bed. :D Till then. Taa~

Love at first sight is easy to understand; it's when two people have been looking at each other for a lifetime that it becomes a miracle.

Love, eve

The New Phase

Future Love – Kristinia DeBarge

Hola!

I know this may sound mundane and is a repetition of most of the other Form 5 students or bloggers, but I would still like to express how relieve I am for the fact that SPM has finally come to an end. After months and months of grueling and all the refrains from watching the television and going online. And finally, no more tuitions.

Think life will be much better off after SPM? Well, I’ll stop you right there. Do think again. If you hadn’t realise, this exam just put a period to our previously comfortable and over-protected lives. Before this, our lives are practically well-planned out for us. All we got to do was just obeying the routine of going to school, just like any other kids in the whole country. Our parents or elderly would eventually be there to enrol us into school and before you even realise what was happening, you are already sitting in a classroom with many unfamiliar faces staring at each other. Need not say, this phenomenon will then repeats itself when we enter high school.

However, things may get a little different now. It is all about making decisions and planning ahead for your future or you’ll just stop at that phase and never move on. It is like a crossroad, but with more than just four routes to take. You can only pick one from the many, and it has to be the right one as it holds your future right ahead. You may think this is it, but after a few years, you might start to regret but there’s no turning back. You just have to go on and bear with it for the rest of your life.

This may sound distressing but it is still the cruel reality and it is undeniable that it is like that. Anyway, don’t mind that long winded lecture. :D

If you are wondering what I will be doing after this, I am going to HELP university college to pursue higher education and going in for January intake. This indirectly mean that I have only half a month of holiday before starting again. Anyway, I will be doing the American Degree Program there and is planning to major in psychology after that.

Well, before this, I totally had no idea what I am going to do after SPM, but after my trip to Japan last year, I met this young lady around her early 20s who just graduated as a fine art student in the States. When I expressed my distress on not being able to decide what to do after high school, she told me that she too, had the same situation before this. It is true for what she said, ‘ You will eventually know what you want when time comes.’ I was really puzzled at first but when it really did happened to me, I felt grateful and hopeful once more. So for you guys out there who feel frustrated over this issue, my advice to you is to take your time out and be sensitive to the things going on around you. You will find your interest and dreams to pursue sooner or later. So cheer up! :D

True courage is to pursue one’s dream when everyone says its impossible.

Open Ceremony for HOLIDAYS!

My holiday has officially starts. When i shaded my last answer on the answer sheet, I was overwhelmed! I could not believe that i have endured all the pain and stress throughout the whole period of exam. I vividly recall my stupid act of repeating this verse " I am so going to jump down the building right now!" And now, I want to do the other way, i want to fly!

My lungs is going to explode with joy. I am now this close to leaving Malaysia for the Youth Exchange Program i yearned for years. Now, it is like a dream come true! I get to go to Narita, Japan. I just gotten my host families details and now i have to shop for their souvenirs. I'll be leaving on 13th December and be back on 4th January which is the evening before school reopens! Going to celebrate my birthday, Christmas and New Year in Japan!

I am so free now! Somebody ask me out to an outing! Or a date? Just joking... Now I'm feel so bored that I WANT TO JUMP DOWN THE BUILDING or PLUNGE INTO A RIVER!

Anyway, its kind of late now so good night...

Hearts On My Way Here by Clay Aiken

Jingle All the Way to August Holiday

It's holiday again. Time really flies when there are no exams. One thing good, i finally took my Grade 8 Music Theory exam this morning. Feeling of anxiety swept pass me and chills making their way down my back all the time when i was standing alone outside the exam hall like a loner. I had no one to talk to! Everything seems so strange to me.

I was there revising my homework when something caught my attention. Guess what? Saw Zhan Yeh walking up the stairs. I was surprised when i saw him but he didn't seemed to be interested with my presence. Guess he is sempre like that! ( sempre : always ) Obsess with italian terms...

So that MPS held last week was below average for me, to be honest. I understand that it can be done way better because Japanese Culture is something so wide that a mere SMKTS-Library-Sized-Exhibition is just a pinch of sand of the whole thing. However, with Pn. Zaini's limitation, i bet O.C. and V.O.C can't do much about that either.

The whole exhibition was boring for me. Main thing is because i'm not interested in neither anime nor manga, origami was making weapons out of paper? How wierd... That sushi thing was a daylight robbery, flower arrangement was not proper and the whole thing has nothing to do with bonsai, language part was plain boring, not interested in technology because the articles are all about robots, no idea what the Leos and Interact members are doing, Geography was another boring station, couldn't get the Japan's map. What i like are the weather doll and what the Form 6 Council was doing.

I wore yukata on the first day. Was a bit messy cause i had to deal with almost the whole process of wearing that yukata by myself. No one knows how to wear it! After that opening ceremony, i stood at the entrance saying ' よこそいかしませ ' or something like that. Know why i'm not sure? This is the effect of saying that particular word for too many times consecutively. After that, Charlene pulled my aside and told me she wants to make me up. I don't even have time to feel shock about it when i realise i am already in the BBM room sitting down opposite to her. She caused me to tear with that eyeliner! I was afraid of eyeliners okay? Then, i look a bit geisha-ish after that make up but she didn't put powder on my neck so nevermind...

Went home and took one last picture of me! Happy holiday!

XOXO

Evelyn

Boooooo!!

Onga onga ..... miao miao miao........ rawr rawr....

I can almost go insane having such boring holiday. I stay at home almost 24/7 besides going for tuitions. Nobody asked my out, nobody chat with me online. How sad can my holiday be? I can see moss growing on me, feeding on my nutrients for living. I'm practically a living corpse, a zombie, a vampire who dread drinking coke.

Good news is i have finally scrubed my dirty and filthy school shoes clean. Credits to Pn. Kwang who made my shoes filled with mud before exam started. It is clean and shiny now. Prepare to see the cleanest shoe in the whole school. Of course it is not clean to the extend that you can kiss my shoes ( just kidding).

Bad news is the oil price has gone up again. Higher oil prices will lead to an increase in the cost of production across all industries because it is used as fuel or transportation, energy generation and in petrochemicals. As a result, the gregate supply shift leftward, causing cost-push inflation.

However, the government used a killer tactic to convince M'sians that the increase in oil price has not result in an economi crisis in the future. They made a bad comparison of the oil price between M'sia and other countries. They have not considered the income of M'sians and that of other countries' residents. How inconsiderate can the government be and now they have all the M'sians inconsolable and disappointed with the decision of raising oil price.

To be optimistic, less people will drive their car around and therefore reduce amount of carbons in the air giving lesser effect on air polution. Obviously the current condition of our public transport cannot satisfy our needs. Let's focus merely on the buses. The lines of buses are so bad that a bus cannot even get me from the useless-busless-signless bus stop to DJ or to Taman Megah ( those are the near places from my house ).

Besides, the public transports like LRT and bus except for taxi are always sardin-packed during peak hour. Delayed buses also made buses unreliable to the public. Therefore, how can the government blame M'sians for not preserving the environment by taking public transport to their destination? Hope the government will take this into deep consideration.

School reopens tomorrow...

Trip to Malacca

I was hoping to have a Bored-to-Death holiday when my mom told me that we are going back to Malacca to visit my grandmother. At the moment i was stoned completely.

It turned out quite interesting. We continued with our very own ' ice-cream tradition ' . We will walk to the nearest petrol station when the furnace like sun hung high up in the sky to buy ice-cream! Then we will stroll our way back home enjoying the melting ice-cream. My mom's same old comment will be," Crazy ah? Hot sun still go out." Nothing can change our ' tradition ', we went out anyway.

Maybe it is because of holidays, you can see ' jams ' everywhere. Even the small roads of Malacca, i benefited anyway. I stand a chance to take pictures at places i never got a chance to take. Saw something real contrasting and took a quick picture of the old Methodist Church.
One very old building standing beside a very new building..
Convert to CIMB Bank.. Mercedes Showroom..

We came back yesterday and stopped by SS2 Mcdonalds for Sundae Cone as it was only 50 cents every 1st day of the month nationwide.
